I was born in Loma Linda California and was adopted at birth. He grew up in Palm Springs California where his adopted parents owned a horse ranch called Los Compadres Stables. At the age of seventeen I moved to Mountain Center California where he rented a house and still worked with horses.

It was not until I reached the age of fifty that I became interested in wood turning. Upon the purchasing of a wood lathe I became motivated to take lessons to learn the craft. It was at this point that the talent surfaced. Joining the San Diego Wood Turners Club I was able to learn both technique and design. Two years later I entered his work into the juried Del Mar Design and Wood Show. One of the pieces was a table that I received seven commissions from. In the eighteen years of participating in the show I have won nineteen first places as well as many others.

I started experimenting with glass blowing and polymer clays. Now at the age of seventy three I would like to spend all of his time creating, promoting and selling his fabulous works of art. I have begun doing outdoor shows and is hoping to acquire new collectors. My studio is thirty six hundred square feet and houses four lathes and two kilns and is located in Warner Springs California.
