Glass

The glass elements of Campbell's pieces are created in a hot shop with a kiln reaching around 2100 degrees. After the annealing process is finished holes are cut in the glass and the wood elements are designed, inserted and sealed in the glass. The flat glass elements are made to fit the wood piece. Holes are then cut into the glass using a fusing process.
